ICUnet.AG wins EMMA Award for relocation

A special meeting of international relocation providers and HR-Manager of international companies took place in London.  The highlight for ICUnet.AG was the presentation of the EMMA awards.

The award for best performance and most interesting services offered in the field of expatriate management was presented in London on November 4th.  ICUnet.AG was recognized as the runner-up in the category of "Destination Services Provider of The Year" for its innovative range of services.  From a list comprised of over 500 submissions, the renowned jury selected the best companies and acknowledged them for their success during an exclusive formal dinner in London’s Park Plaza.  “For us, the award is not only a great honor, but also an incentive to put even more effort into the optimization of our services, so that we can guarantee our customer the best service quality”, said Mr. Daniel Auwermann.  “The European Global Mobility Summit in London offers the inimitable opportunity for the exchange of experiences between industry insiders and it represents one of the most important summits in the relocation industry”, said the partner of the ICUnet.AG excitedly after the event.

Besides numerous opportunities to participate in workshops pertaining to the latest expatriate management trends and chances for exchange and networking with colleagues from various international locations, the participants were also able to partake in a number of exciting and unique programs.  Swimmer and multiple Olympic medal-winner Sharron Davis discussed her experiences as a professional athlete and the challenges related to visa applications and travel arrangements, issues that she had to confront regularly as a frequent traveller.  Simon Tyler explained how expats can stay focused on essential aspects despite increasing workloads and 21st century obstacles with the help of his twelve principles of personal resilience.  Brian Friedman, founder and CEO of The Forum for Expatriate Management, FEM, presented a new international survey and provided invaluable information concerning the logistics and complexities of international travel.  “We are very proud to get an award like the EMMA in such a dedicated and ambitious business segment.  Our team also congratulates all partners and other colleagues who were awarded as well”, said Mr. Auwermann.
